Starting a new game

Hi everyone,

I'm on my first playthrough and want to know if it will be overwritten if a start a new game with a different build?

    Welcome to the forum!

    You can create as many save files as you want. Save files are only overwritten if you choose to do so. Autosaves are overwritten regularly, however, so don't rely too much on them.

    auto-saves, quick-saves and chapter saves will all overwrite, although beamdog has given you 4 quick-save slots so you will have to quick-save more than 4 times to "lose" a quick save

    for reference: when in game pressing the "Q" key will quick save the game and pressing the "L" key will load the most recent quick save
