Could people be given official warnings before they're banned?

"Time in jail/prison bars" is only seen on the mobile version of the site, and only for the severe warning. You can't see it on the PC version. The forum software changed over the years.

No banishments are being done without warnings (exclusions are: duplicate accounts of already banned users, spambots, and users promoting piracy). And in many cases, these warnings are multiple and date to previous years. We always have long and detailed discussions between moderators, and talk to users for a long time before any decision, even just a PM without a warning.

Nobody except spambots, pirates and duplicate accounts, is given "an instant ban with no warnings".

We'll be glad to reply to any questions about moderation in a PM.
