I moved the start of the cinematic, I don't know if it will help, but without being able to replicate, it's very difficult to fix. Check if X3VCut01 exists in your override folder as well, as my concern is it's not being put there for some reason.
If anyone tries out the just now pushed update and no cutscene fires at all now, then the file has to be missing and I need to figure out why.
Just to expand on my previous post. My current install of EET the cutscene doesn't fire at all. In my previous install it would get stuck.

So I've done testing with the update and good and bads news. Good news: I redid my full install of the EET and the cutscene worked. Bad news was the dialogue was borked. So did a fresh install with just vienxay and the npcs just in case it was my install and got the same outcome with the same dialogue after starting a new game in SoD. Add a screenshot with the weidu log just in case. Hope it helps.
Update: Went back and tested vienxay on a fresh SoD Install and same thing. Hope this helps

I can't seem to find her at all in SOA i've tried outside the adventures mart and even went to the prison in case she had spawned their with no luck. Is their something I'm missing like she spawns only after a certain event.

I found that some conversations have incorrect dialogue options. For example, when talking about her exile the dialogue options that appear are instead about her childhood or when I ask about stealth tips she instead talks about her former master. The only other mod I'm using is Tweaks, I wonder if anyone else has the same problem.

If you have EEKeeper, this can be fixed by assigning her the class.
This often happens if I reinstall a mod but the mod order changed. This can cause where the kit is pointing to the wrong reference, and you will likely find in EEKeeper she is pointing to an invalid class, thus shows mage-thief.
Sadly I am encountering a bug where Vienxay keeps initiating dialogue with me every two seconds. I have had that issue before and allways managed to fix it by loading a safe.
This time it happens right after recruiting Baeloth and keeps happening after reloads. Recruiting Baeloth changes my Rep from 20 to 18, which makes me think this might be related to rep?
The line she says is her usual "Why do you wish to waste my time with idle banter?", which is also the only thing she says when I talk to her, not sure if that is correct. When I tried to let her go for Baeloth she kept initiating her leaving dialogue though.
I use EET and have a couple other mods installed but no other NPC mods.
If she says "Why do you wish to waste my time with idle banter?" It means her dialogue wasn't installed right. Sometimes just re-installing helps. You can technically fix it manually by adding the line X3VIEN X3VienP X3VienJ X3vienD to Pdialog.2da in your override folder as well. The latter is probably easier if you trust yourself.

I checked Pdialog.2da and these lines are already present. I don't feel confident to reinstall the mod without bricking my EET since I'm already quite far into my playthrough.
Seems like I'll have to go back to Vienxay in a later playthrough.
Really enjoyed the mod so far, I'll probably pick up more of your NPC's the next time around

non EET. The mods are just Tweaks and Vienxay.

Fix Wings Bugs that have been persistently reported.
Finish my BGEE test playthrough and implement final changes before releasing the final version of the single NPC mods.
Create a single NPC mods bundle that will be the supported version going forward.
Update the BG2 mod with the translations someone created for it.
Finish the BG2 content.
Work on Something New/Focus more on Cross-Content.
You'd probably finish a playthrough before I updated BGEE, but you're also welcome to wait.

I couldn't install the updated version of Vienxay.
Also tried a Clean Installation of BG I EE (including SOD) with only DLCMerger and Vienxay. Same error apparently.
Could you take a look?
I'll be attaching the Debug file.
This does include some new lines from the eventual update I am pushing, so I guess enjoy them early!
