Resolution cannot be changed at all on Android

Game appears to run perfectly, but the resolution or fonts cannot be changed. The menu in graphics and advanced graphics options are empty-nothing can be selected.

Hard to google a solution for this, as it seems I am the only one in the universe with this issue. Please do not "solve" by saying "do a search first".

Thanks for your prompt help. If I cannot solve this I may need a refund, even though I wished to support the team.
