Mod managers

What is the current state of the mod managers for the Infinity Engine games (Baldur's Gate, Planescape and Icewind Dale)?

It looks like for a lot of time the mod manager in use was Big World Setup, but its thread says most of its features are outdated now. On the other hand, there is a new mod manager available, EE Game Setup Tool, but there's very little information about it. I haven't even managed to find a thread about it in this website.
