Are these compatible with games bought from GOG? I mean, if I buy SoD from Beamgdog now will I at some point run into some sort of incompatibility or conflict with my BG2EE from GOG?

You should buy SoD from the same store you bought BG:EE from.

Eventually I just bought the three games from Steam. Three games with this sale is cheaper than one game with standar prices :) Plus, I think Steam has some goodies that GOG doesn't offer.

Any news on SoD coming to the Mac App Store I bought BG:EE from? Not sure how much longer I can stay spoiler free!

Hey, @GreenWarlock, I've been asking around a few times about this topic since the 2.5 patch had been released on the Mac App Store. At this time, the team doesn't have any plans to bring SoD to the Mac App Store, unfortunately.
