SoD installation question

I'm somewhat confused about the installation process for this game. I own the Mac app store version of BG:EE, but SoD is not available from this app store.

If I purchase SoD directly from Beamdog will it recognise and install correctly with the Mac app store version?

    Hello! You have to buy SoD from the same store you purchased BG:EE from. Unfortunately, SoD is not available in the Mac App Store. I'd recommend to use one of the big sales (and one is happening at the moment), and get BG:EE+SoD.

    Thanks for the response JB. If I follow this route I assume I can just copy over my saved games from my original BG:EE installation?

    The save file location shouldn't be changed.
