Launcher stuck on "Loading news"

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi everyone,
i just wanted to start a new playthrough and i tried to start Baldur's Gate (installed via Beamdog) but it's stuck on "loading news"; i tried the other games (bg2, iwd) and there is the same issue.
Some advices?

    I think you're using the old (unsupported launcher). Please use the Beamdog Client (you can download the games via it and then launch them directly through .exe, or the Client).

    I even didn't know there was a new client. Thank you, i will install this version.
    For being sure, i don't have to install again the games, can you confirm it?
    EDIT: nevermind, it's written in the FAQs that it's possible to add existing installations
