Heal spell

The description of Heal is quite ambiguous. It says it "cures those mental disorders caused by spells or injury to the brain". What disorders are those?

Blindness and feeblemind I imagine.

i never tried it to cure confusion, domination, sleep, emotion, hold, stun or the like.

I always thought that was just flavor text.

In theory it should heal a lot of things, like Minsc's head injury, and aerie's wings, but in gameplay terms it just restores your hitpoints.

Actually, as well as restoring health fully, the Heal spell will cure the following conditions:

• Poison
• Blindness
• Feeblemindedness
• Disease
• Deafness

Additionally, the spell is scripted to cure several specific people of their insanity due to plot reasons. The two I know about are the Elven Madman (aka "Yakman") in Watcher's Keep, and Raevilin Strathi, who can be released from the gem of imprisonment in the Underdark (The same gem that contains the lost sverfneblin child the sverf merchant sends you to rescue).
