Saving throws and attributes.

IWD2 has a different ruleset than BG, where saving throws get a bonus corresponding to certain stats (Will->Wisdom etc.), but just to be clear, nothing like that exists in BG, right? Besides some racial bonuses from Constitution that the short races receive, there are no other bonuses beyond from items and the natural progression from level-ups, correct?

A level 20 Human Thief would still have the same saves as a level 20... say, Half-Elf Thief, even though their attributes were radically different, right?

    Neat. Thanks. I thought so as well, but I wasn't 100% sure.

    The original rule-book mentioned will save bonuses for high wisdom but they were never implemented. I'm not sure why the EE"s didn't fix that. As a matter of fact, high intelligence should offer save bonuses vs. Illusion too in reality. Nothing like scepticism to guard the mind!

    Right, you can dump-stat to your heart's content in BG/BG2/IWD1.
