Outlook for the 8189 Development Build?

I've reported a few Crash To Desktop issues on the support site.

Not too surprising as it's only a development release, and, I imagine, a significant internal change from retail.

However, they are showstoppers as far as my module's concerned.

So I'm wondering whether Beamdog can comment yet - is 8189 likely to be followed by a more stable Development release, or should I be developing workarounds?

    The plan is to release a stable version, yes (no ETA, though). And thanks so much for all those reports!
