BG2:EE Game crashes whenever I open the load game screen

Hey! I've been having a problem that just popped up today,where whenever I try to load my Shadows of Amn game, the second I click on the "Load" button, the game stops responding and then just crashes. I'm not entirely sure what to do, or what could have caused it considering it came out of the blue, but I can hop into the Throne of Bhaal load screen (although I don't have any saves in it) If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it, thank you! :)

    Hi there! Do you use any mods? What platform do you use? What language do you play the game in? Are there many saves in Documents - Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition - save?

    I deleted some of my older saves and its working now! I knew I had a habbit of over saving, but I didn't think it was that bad X3 thank you!
