Anyone Else Had This

Out of the blue, I've just had to change my password. I didn't forget it, this site just wouldn't let me log-in. Said something about my account being altered by an admin/mod. Didn't realise that there was a time-limit on them.

    Just had the same thing happen to me. Not much worse than a surprise password changing party.

    Although I hate surprises, at least my paranoia is not so strong now that I know that it wasn't just me.

    Seems like Vanilla is doing that to users automatically.

    I suspected as much. My guess it is a time-limit on how long a password can last.

    Last night, I found I was logged out on Android and had to do a password reset.

    This morning, I was logged out on Windows (fair enough) but the new password didn't work.

    I did another password reset (on Windows).

    Now I was logged out on Android (fair enough) but the password created on Windows worked.

    Go figure.

    Same here, I had the same password for about 5 years.
