PS4 Baldur's Gate Sound

The sound on the PS4 Baldur's Gate went out during an adventure. I have reset defaults, to no avail. I have moved the sound bars and th following happens: can hear the character when clicked on, but no background sounds or music or character sounds for spellcasting; or, there is background sounds and music, but no character or NPC voices at all. It didn't start like that, the game produced all sounds. Cannot remember what adventure I was on when the sound went away.
