Continuous Freezing

    actually I'm not crashing. I'm freezing. I only had 1 crash after the hotfix but all the other times have been Freezes. Sometimes I can move the mouse and sometimes the sound still plays but the result is the same - Ctrl Alt Del is locked and I can't Alt Tab. I'm forced to manually reboot it everytime

    That's definitely a driver or even a hardware issue. No software can lock up your computer until there's something wrong with the hardware or drivers.

    Yeah that's kind of what I thought initially

    I don't know.... my drivers are up to date so I guess I can just chalk it up to an 8 year old PC finally meeting it's match.

    some different stuff went down today

    had about 5 smooth minues then instead of the normal freeze, it would flash back and forth between the frozen page and a plain black page with the movement cursor in the middle. Seemed like a video card issue but I'm not really sure.
