What else can I say, this is a disappointment.

My screen is all jagged. Cutscenes and menu works.

    Windows XP Media Center Edition
    2GB of RAM
ATI Radeon Mobility X300 drivers are as up to date as I can find.

Nothing and no response to my thread. I want a refund if they can't fix it. I will just get the Mac Edition which I know will work as its not an nVidia.I should've waited for that. :-/

Read this thread, it's required reading for everybody with issues:

That's not a laptop, that's a netbook. Computing power equivalent of something midrange from the time BG was new.. also, works just fine on my PC which has both Intel and nVidia hardware.
Hate to nitpick, but a netbook should be plenty powerful enough to run Baldur's Gate. In 1998 when I bought the game I was playing on a Pentium Pro 180Mhz with 32 MB of RAM. I realize that they have theoretically increased the requirements but 1 Ghz and 512 Mb of RAM should be plenty.

I was playing it on a Pentium 100Mhz, 16 MB of RAM and with 1MB graphic card, this was below the minimum system requirements but It was still playable on minimum speed :-)
