BG-EE Instructions for beginner on Xbox One

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi, I recently purchased Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition and wonder is there any guidelines for a beginner playing it on the Xbox One? I played Dungeons and Dragons as a teenager but its over 30 years now since I last played and I have forgot a lot of it. Is there a dummy's guide to get me going? Especially with applying the ability points when creating the characters as I'm a bit lost there.
