Urgent problem PG name

Hello, because during the creation of the PG does not make me enter the word Knight neither as name nor as surname, I censure the word

    When creating a new PG, when giving it a name and a surname, it does not make me enter the name Knight
    It does not give me the possibility to enter the name I have chosen for my new PG, that is the name Knight. Neither in the first name box nor in the last name box.
    The PG editor censors the name of my new PG in this way Kn *** t

    I just made a new character on a clean install (1.80 stable on Steam) and was able to give him the surname Knight.

    And anyway the editor, to me, continues to censor the name

    Seems like the console anti-swear system thinks that word is not allowed. Most likely, it's an offensive word in one of the languages.

    Yeah, sounds like the scunthorpe problem - Knight has the substring 'nig', a diminished form of a very... divisive racial slur.

    You're right, I tried to change the name from Knight to Night and that name was also censored by the system.
    Is absurd!
    Knight and night are two very common and very useful words!
    My name on the xbox live profile is Gabriel Knight, why didn't that name censor it ??
    Do you think it's a solvable problem?

    I experimented with other games, trying to use the name Knight
    All other games allow me to use the word Knight
    How is it possible?

    I doubt this has anything to do with it, but see if you've got an errant copy of swearfilter.2da in your override folder.

    Have you tried asking XBox tech support? Maybe its something on their end specific to this game? You could also submit a ticket to Beamdog.

    I didn't think so, but I'm not familiar with consoles as I don't own one.
