Hi! Sorry, but I cannot use your save game beyond checking some variables -- I think it includes other mods (EEex?) that crash my game when I try to load it.

However, I made a quick run to see if there is something damaged in Skineater 2.6, and everything played fine, so it's either the engine had a little hiccup, and you ended up with the problem, or maybe there is some incompatibility, but the number of combinations here is so big that it would be like guessing what might not have worked. The script that summons the final version of the creature is really simple, and after analyzing your savegame, it looks like it played fine:

This is the variable that is set after the monster is summoned for the last part of the fight. However, you have not killed the final form, because "L#TSSKI2" isn't dead.

I believe you were just really unlucky and it was some engine caprice, because the script has been like that for 6 years now. I'm sorry you could not finish it properly. HOWEVER, if you haven't moved much further on, you may just summon the final form:

    C:CreateCreature("L#TSSKI2")

...while in the right area. The script value is correct already.

I may be playing IWDEE this year, and I will also include the mod again to see if it plays fine.

I hope that next time you'll be playing the mod, it won't happen again :)

C:CreateCreature("L#TSSKI2") helped to trigger the dialogue, possibly due to the head the party gained.

    Thank you very much!

I do not know if this helps regarding reproducibility, but here is a description of what I did and how the fights went.
    1. Entered the skineater lair.
    2. Moved only the leader / Player 1 (?) to the skineater.
    3. Cutscene started, and the skineater did an attack animation, I think, and then some area-of-effect animation centered around the skineater happened.
    4. Attracted the skineater to the entrance where the party waited for him with traps and buffs.
    5. Killed the first skineater encounter.
    6. Cutscene started and second encounter started by teleporting all party members into the map center.
    7. Leader / Player 1 (?) was killed by the monsters.
    8. Party managed to survive, and no third encounter triggered.

I don't know if your code uses Player1 for the cutscenes and if this is an issue.

Maybe this was just an edge case.

    Thanks for step-by-step description.

I actually thought that the fact player1 could have caused this, but I tried killing player1 and the cutscene still triggered correctly... I'll check it again when I'm playing the game myself and if I manage to reproduce it, I'll fix it :)

Cheers and have a nice rest of your IWDEE run!

    Good evening to you LavaDelVortel,

There is another small issue which is very trivial, but I also want to use the chance of reporting it to give the mod more compliments.

I finished the modification, and the climactic voice acting is very well done. I enjoyed the moment and was, for that period of time, very immersed in that dramatic dialgue-scene, which also reveals what is actually going on.

This is an artistically very well-done mod that I want to have in my future IWDEE runs. The concept of the three-layered boss fight is a tough challenge(My party level was 4–5, and I recommend starting the quest at that level.). I enjoyed the roleplaying aspect with my party leader being killed during the battle (of course, I resurrected him)!

    ISSUE:

Just a small typo in the "Robe of the Half-dead Magister" item description. I marked it in the screenshot. I assume it is self-explanatory.

Thank you! Will fix it regardless of whether I will be able to reproduce the other problem, but when I have more to add than a typo :) And thanks for the compliments :)
Actually, the mod is also there to mention the character from IWD2, which is connected to a very similar forest -- Limha, the witch. What's in the notes is foreshadowing of the IWD2 story. I kinda do that with BG1-BG2 and IWD1-IWD2 to make stories feel more connected :)
