No Beta testing for non-Steam users?

I don't use Steam and Beamdog client does not offer Beta installation.

Will that change?

Here's an answer for the same question, asked in Ask Beamdog thread:

Oh, then the other answer Julius gave that is more directly answering your question was something along the lines of "Beta on Beamdog client is unlikely".

Is it also possible to get a temporary Steam key for people willing to check the beta but who have bought the game on GOG?

Sorry, no, as there is no such thing as a "temporary" key for Steam.

Ah, I see. Thanks for your reply, I'll just be patient then :)

I've seen that the next step in the release of 2.6 has been announced, great news.
Is there any chance users without Steam (e.g. GOG version) can beta-test too now?
I reported quite some bugs and would like to follow-up to see if they have been fixed.

@ATigersClaw Perhaps if you list the bugs in question, people with access to the Beta can test if they're still the case in 2.6.

That would be the next logical step @Thels, yes.
