Is it "safe" to uninstall the tactical components of SCS?

MaurvirMaurvir Member Posts: 1,093
I'm beginning to think I may have bitten off more than my party can chew, so I'm contemplating uninstalling some of the SCS tactical components. SCS is the last mod installed, and I don't believe any of the tactics mods mess with dialog, so I would *think* it would be safe, but I'm not sure.

If I remove some of the modules, such as Improved Fiends and Celestials, Improved Vampires, etc., will it break a game in progress?

Altering mods mid game is usually bad. However, SCS specifically has fine tune control of its components in game. Go into your options while in game and looks for 'SCS options', or something along those lines. You should be able to tweak individual aspects of SCS there, instead of a general difficulty settings. I don't know if it lets you change the tactical options or not, but its worth a shot.

Yes, you can turn the difficulty of those individual components down mid-game, If you are using v32 or later. No need to uninstall.
