IWD: EE 2.6 Beta & GOG?

Am I correct in saying 2.6 beta access is currently just on Steam?

I have the GOG version and am currently quite deep into an ironman play through. Just wondering if it's worth waiting for a GOG release before proceeding or if that's still months away.
