Chromatic Orb bug - Saving throws/hit rolls text not showing.

I am wondering if this is a bug. Chromatic orb doesn't seem to show the saving throws vs spell. Take this PrtSc for example. Imoen clearly makes her saving throw (since she isn't blinded from lvl 1 orb). However, the combat text doesn't show.

I do have the hit rolls activated in the text screen from the options menu.

Spells and effects which give a bonus to their saving throws (such as Chromatic Orb with its +6 bonus to save vs. spell) sometimes do this for some reason. I am not entirely sure why. I think it happens when the saving throw is only successful due to the bonus that the spell/effect gives to the roll.

For example: Say Imoen has a save vs. spell stat of 10. You cast Chromatic Orb at her, which offers a +6 bonus to saving rolls. A d20 is rolled to determine if she made the save or not.

• If the d20 roll results in a number from 10-20, then she will succeed at saving and the log will show her total save after applying the +6 bonus. This will result in a number from 16-26 being shown in the log as her save.
• If the d20 roll results in a number from 4-9, then she will succeed at saving and the log will fail to report any saving throw info.
• If the d20 roll results in a number from 1-3, then she will fail the saving throw and the log will correctly not report any saving throw info.

Technically a bug, yes, but I seem to recall being told by someone that it is not worth fixing due to either extreme hardcoding difficulty or the possible risk of wrecking the whole system by meddling with a fragile bit of coding or some such. I seriously doubt that this one will ever be fixed. I am, however, quite certain that the system is functioning 100% correctly, it just isn't reporting feedback in all cases when it should for some reason.

P.S.
This bug does not seem to affect any spells or effects that apply a penalty to saving throws.
