~DESCRIPTION~
I dug through the game files and cobbled together three soundsets from vanilla Baldur's Gate NPCs. There's Aldeth, Nimbul, and Silke.
Aldoth's soundset is the most complete (and hilarious), but the other two work just fine. They all have working subtitles and selection sounds. Just make sure you pick the right version for your game, and follow the instructions! There are two zip files for each soundset. One for BGEE and one for BG2EE/EET.
--DOWNLOAD MIRROR--
Github
--INSTALLATION--
Unpack the contents of the zip file into your BGEE or BG2EE directory respectively and run Setup-*.exe to install.
In order to make the soundsets work (with no mismatched sounds and subtitles) on a BGEE installation, and where you have used modmerge to prepare the game for modding, you MUST first copy 'CHARSND.2da' into your 'override' folder before installing.
File and instructions can be found here: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/73279/a-solution-for-the-sound-mods-in-siege-of-dragonspear
There's no need for this on BG2EE or EET.

Thanks to Smeagolheart for the wonderful Soundset Mod Shell that let me figure out how to use subtitles for my soundsets.
NearInfinity for allowing me to dig through the game files, which is always fun. You never know what you might find...
