Unable to load Community module saved games

Seems after the most recent patch (using GOG) I can download the provided community modules and play them ... however, any saves I make I cannot load. The loading freezes indefinitely. Anyone else having this issue and perhaps found the reason or have a workaround? Seems to be only the Community module saves with this issue.

    Hello, this is a known issue. A hotfix is on the way.

    A workaround meanwhile is to run the game in multiplayer (you can turn "Post to Internet" off for privacy). Once you saved in MP, you can reuse the savegame in SP too.

    This only affects NWSync-downloaded content (curated modules), nothing else.

    The hotfix to address this issue has shipped as patch 8193.27.
