    Try launching the game directly from the .exe file in the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition directory.

    If that doesn't work then please post your PC specs.

    @ppnoir

    Is that a laptop?

    Nvidia cards have an issue on laptops where they sometimes don't detect when they are needed. Could you go to the baldur.exe, right-click it and then select the option where you choose which graphics card should be used to run the program and then select your Nvidia card?

    Not sure why your game would stop working all of a sudden.

    My laptop uses the same processor and it runs on a Intel HD 3000.

    Well I done everything:

    Video drive are uptodate.
    OpenAL was reinstalled
    I put the BG.exe in the list in the control panel of Nvidia
    All the anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, or vertical sync are disabled.

    So.... not really cool.

    Same problem. In my case Baldur.exe runs, but only in the background. No crashes, even the 'white screen' doesn't pop out.
