Cool, I'll keep an eye out for it. I tend to pick and choose and it's always interesting what people have come up with for the various characters throughout the series.
ROD is Reflections Of Destiny. I wasn't sure if it might have issues with Black Hearts but I figured I'd try. The issue I had didn't have anything to do with Black Hearts. I had a similar problem with early versions of Endless Baldur's Gate in that the intro cinematic for Korlasz dungeon got stuck because Imoen wouldn't say her dialogue for some reason. Since the game locks you out from everything including the menu to turn off the game when it's in cinema mode, I hastily killed the program in task manager which doesn't work with EEEX. I should have forced the game off through steam but I have habits from the days before steam was around and it killed my game. No big deal, that's what happens when you use alpha EEEX with beta Infinity UI and a brand new mod that is largely untested. I am ready for a full playthrough though and I plan to cut the fat on my next run to insure stability until late SOA at the least.
My next run of the game will have a few quests from the BG mini quest mod from Jastey with Black Hearts, loretakers, BG NPC Project and IWDEET. These mods all run flawless together and I've made it to SOA multiple times with this setup so I know I can trust it. SOA has a few mods from Acifer that I plan to install that I have not played through in a trilogy run but his mods are almost always stable for me outside of a few non game breaking quirks here and there. I'm not sure when I'll start my next run but I'll report in here as usual if I find any problems with Black Hearts.
This time through BG1 I told Illasera to f off and never did her quests. Then at start of Dragonspear, Nerys is like "hey old friend." She should have an alternate introduction if you never actually met her before.
Also I wonder if there should be a forced dialogue somewhere. I did the sod part once, then was rushing through again without the mod triggering because I never even visited Elfsong.
Anyway I did it once with Cythandria and once where I killed her (again.) I wonder if there is a path with just her and no Tamoko. Also I feel like if you killed either of them in BG1 they really shouldn't return, but that certainly would change things.

Tamoko, Cythandria and Wiski can only return if you say to Nerys than they are alive. The mod doesn't use death variables, but instead set SoD variables depending of your answers to Nerys in the Elfsong Tavern. You want them stay dead ? Tell her they are dead.
That's why the Elfsong tavern part is important in order to play the mod in later chapters.
The mod works with some of them dead and others alive (its' in the readme). You just need one of them alive to be able to enjoy the mod.
So I sent Skie in to scope out the temple area *invisible*, and she's being surrounded by Elys, Kherk, Andoc and the rest of the merry gang. How are they able to sense her while invisible and follow?
Not sure if this is intended behavior but it looks like if you sleep too long in the Astral Plane, it will wipe the pre-existing items on the ground, making the Astral Gemstones unobtainable. I know that is vanilla game behavior for items left on the ground. I guess you really aren't supposed to rest at all once you enter the plane.
Trouveur it is very condescending how you keep dismissing people's suggestions in this thread. Did you take over this mod?
@San_Derson I think you are being rather unfair. It seems to me that all @Trouveur has done in this thread is to offer constructive advice and explain how the mod works. I don't think he has been either condescending or at all dismissive of people's ideas.

Remember Black Hearts use the Black Pits scripts for the foes.
