Increase the level of everyone by X

Just wondering since BG1 is still my favorite game, I don't get tired of the atmosphere and the gameplay.
Is there a way to experience the entire thing but as a higher level character against a balanced challenge where everything is high level too?

    Yes, you can use this tool for one thing:

    https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/32334/level-adder-v0-5/p1

    But, you must also use SCS so the game recalculates THACO etc. Don’t reduce levels, they’ll wrap around to lvl 255...

    Excuse me sir, I want to ask how to install this, I couldn't understand from the original thread and it isn't active to ask and expect to receive an answer, maybe you know how to install it? I'm sorry I'm not very experienced with mods.
    I installed SCS first time but I'm not sure whether or not it's installed, there were several questions I've answered them until I've reached a question that had no options that worked, so I stopped the install. There are no mod menus in the in game settings or any indication or a mod that I can tell.
