Boots: Soft Feet from SOD into BG2 EE - no solution?

Hello all,

I have been looking for ways to add in the OP Soft Feet into BG2. I have tried a few mods that import SOD items into BG2 although not the trilogy mod which looked a bit robust...but I will (Please advise).

I use EE Keeper and I am looking for a solution that will display allllll items from the BGEE/TOSC and SOD when playing BG2 EE.

Is there a mod or some way to get bg2 files to have access to all items from previous games?

Thanks all.

I'm no expert on this so I could be wrong, but I think if you play EET then you are essentially playing one game so you can EE Keeper any item from any game in the trilogy into any game in the trilogy. https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/forum/195-enhanced-edition-trilogy/

I can confirm that you can bring over a lot of your gear with EET. If you are willing to metagame a touch, you can bring it all. Just have your party store all their gear in the castle basement before you go to sleep that last time in SoD, and while it is a bit of a hike from Athkatla, you can get it all back.

Assuming you don't have several bags of holding, the rest of your gear and items need to be stored somewhere. Obviously your party's base of operations can't be in Baldur's Gate, but if you set up, say, in Beregost or Nashkel, you can make the beginning chapters of SoA a LOT easier just by selling all of your BG1 loot - never mind the +3 swords you would have had at the end of SoD. There is one particular sword from SoD that makes two areas in Amn vastly easier, for instance...

Lastly, if you really like the feeling of being an experienced adventured, there is nothing like being able to fill up the De'Arnise keep with all of your party's stuff practically going back to Candlekeep. That really was a special kind of awesome - even if they will never use most of that gear again.
