Does Dark Dreams of Furiae reduces your level??

I bought a Dark Dreams of Furiae. And I had a lv. 6 sorcerer so I imported this character.

However, it's lv. reduced to 5.192.168.0.1

Not just this character, I've tested it with different characters, but their levels all dropped down to 5.

Is this a bug, or did Beamdog do this on purpose because perhaps they thought more than lv. 5 is too OP?

    Yep, looks like it reduces your level to 5.

    D&D modules are designed for specific level ranges. When they made Neverwinter Nights, several design decisions revolved around DM control. One of the features is that your character's level will often be adjusted to a level appropriate for the adventure.
