A small glitch,
I noticed, when using your Rashemaar Berserker Kit together with S&A and giving it three pips in Conditioning, the Berserker is still fatigued after rageing, even though description says otherwise.
Also, to clarify, when I tested the most recent Seducer kit, this was with only EET, the mods that come before EET including DLCMerger, and only the Seducer kit. No other kit mods nor kits from your mod were included.
Any plans of updating the mod to include revisions to other original kits too? Maybe some love for Jesters or the other Ranger kits. The Druid kits I think could use some revising too (especially the Shapeshifter).
And a question. I assume the main target of the revised Paladin is BG2EE, but it works fine on IWDEE from what I have seen. Only odd thing is that they get two Smite abilities. The original one from the game and the Smite from the mod. Shouldn't the new Smite replace the old one? In the BGs it's no problem since they have no Smite ability. Would be cool too if the Undead Hunter and Inquisitor received their own unique Auras like the Cavalier and Blackguard do (or maybe even no Auras at all and give then some other ability as in my opinion they don't really fit).
Oh I see now about the Paladins. Divine Smite is a separate HLA. At that point I wasn't using LeUI (playing IWDEE) so when I tested it my Paladin simply got the ability when he leveled up (he gets 7 instances at lvl 30). With LeUI installed I see that Divine Smite is among the HLA list and can take it several times. Ok, that's clear now. This new HLA (along with Sanctified Strikes) is added to the HLA selection screen even if "Add New HLAs for ALL Classes and Kits" is not installed, which is funny given that the new Fighter HLAs don't get added unless the aforementioned mod is installed alongside the new Fighter abilities.
Speaking of Fighters. I noticed the in game description saying that they get an extra 1/2 attack at lvl 20, which they do get. It's just not mentioned in the website.
The Archer tweak for his proper hit and damage progression does not seem to be working. At lvl 30 I'm getting +8 to hit and damage instead of the +10 that he should be getting.
I'll look at updating the website. I just looked at the clab file and it is showing correctly for the Archer, so its likely a mod install/compatibility issue on your end.
Just tested it with nothing installed save that module of Skills and Abilities. Same thing. Another thing is that when leveling up a weird graphical animation plays on the character.
I figured the archer out: IWD has a different spell than BG to provide the archer bonuses. Instead, the spell that provides the archer bonuses in BG is Smite Evil for IWD. Its why you are seeing the animation and why it isn't working. I made a fix and it will be released in my next update.
I also noticed that vanilla Fighters with the class updates (again in IWDEE) are getting two instances of Second Wind and double the saving throw bonus. Kitted Fighters are fine. And this error in the UI with the Wizard Slayer update and HLAs...
It covers one of my HLAs and it does nothing when clicked. The regular detect invisible ability works fine however. It only happens if I have lots of special ability icons. If I only have a few (say 4 abilities) that extra icon is not shown.
A workaround for that is using bubb's spell menu to display special abilities.
The in-game description for the vanilla Paladin does is not updated to reflect the changes from the class updates . Neither the aura or the new Smite ability are mentioned. The Cavalier kit does mention the extra aura ability.
- Archers are getting their proper THAC0 and damage kit bonuses
- Vanilla Fighters no longer get two instances of Second Wind or the saving throw bonuses
- No longer have the issue with the Wizard Slayer and the Detect Illusions skill button
Probably, but when I tested it last (on my work laptop) nothing was installed save the mod. Either way, it's not happening now and all issues I was having are gone.
