EEKeeper issue

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hello! I'm trying to use EEkeeper but I'm not having any success. I'm mapping the installation and saves to different locations. They are as follows:

C:\Users\jeffr\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\

C:\Users\jeffr\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\save\

Could BG be installed in another location? I don't quite see how that is possible though. Maybe I'm doing something else wrong? Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thank you!

    I can barely read that at my age, but I think you have chosen the wrong installation directory. The save directory is actually in a different location than the installation directory, as strange as that may sound. Where the installation directory is may depend on where you bought the game. For instance, if you used the Beamdog Client you'd find it: User > Beamdog Library > 00766

    I'm not sure where the GOG or Steam versions go, but possibly: This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86)

    You may have to hunt around for it, but you will recognize it because it contains a file called chitin.key.

    Also, while I'm here, I should point out that EE Keeper is a little glitchy in it's current iteration. Some things work, some things don't. For example, for me, I can edit ability scores, but it will crash if I try to add an item to a character's inventory. All kinds of weirdness has been reported. You may want to have a look at the EE Keeper thread for various reports. If EE Keeper doesn't work for you, you might take a look at Near Infinity, though it may take a bit more nuance to get used to it for save editing purposes.

    Thank you! I did get it from GOG, so maybe that's why the directory is different. I can't quite find it anywhere else though. I appreciate the response.

    Thank you again, I found it! The installation direction is

    C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition

    I did have to map to my save game in the other location. And then I had to make sure that use custom saves wasn't checked. I had it checked for some reason.

    C:\Users\jeffr\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\save\
