"Teamwork makes the dream work"- Finally got into a team that wasn't just playing Ferrengi/loot Force to the exclusion of all else. Actually had team members that watched each others backs. Stuck with them for a few more matches(I only blew up one of them once- no worries more potions and loot where he/she ended up). We went from doing one floor then starting again to taking down Beastor.

In another non happy match in which I started "in the next room" I got to see a player rush in, try to get all the chests and urns not fighting until afterwards while the rest of the team kinda got whelmed then overwhelmed. Seems like some players haven't noticed yet how loot works- one player gets gold/shards/gems everyone gets it with no need to be greedy.

"I Should have joined X-COM"- Ever have days when you just can't aim? Almost as bad as in X-Com (Microprose) where I've had soldiers aim at the side of a barn while standing inside the barn and miss the entire barn- on full autofire.

"Mythical Win!" - beat the mythic 3 difficulty also along the way collected a few "mythic" level perks. The frost book was feeling less and less useful as mobs got faster and faster but mythic glass cannon and a few other things with daze on hit and channeler turned it around and things evaporated in the blizzard. Beastor got the shock of his life.

Really feels like "overdrive" should have a voice line- for example from

Rico "Time to be a hero!"
    Hawkins "This hunt ends here"
    Victoria "For Honor!"
Maggie "I know something you don't"

    I keep enjoying these.

    Congrats on Full release!

I'm noticing quite a few changes- tutorials, minibosses, new mobs, and some changes to the magic books (at least when Maggie is using them). Love the new map and the "episode" format. One thing I noticed that stayed the same- fire is still hot. While figuring out the aiming changes on the lightning book I misjudged range of a boom pod's explosion - I got knocked back and caught fire.
Achievement - Houston we have liftoff

One thing that took me a little too long to notice was that weapon upgrades are no longer only applied to the active weapon now I need to pay more attention to the book/weapon symbol in each choice (also the reroll suddenly makes sense).

Will there be a second season of Mythforce? Main villain always has an escape plan and returns with new allies also maybe even a diabolical plan <insert eeeville laugh here>

It's not known yet. We'll see how the game performs.

Considering what else has launched recently you may want to give some extra time before making decisions. One good thing is that by the looks of things the steam "ick people" are busy icking starfield (mostly left BG3). Not quite getting the "game is slow" comments on steam.

Disappointed by the lack of promotion by Stench (aka Steam). Two days worth of step-thru promo windows on the launch of their client, yet still no mention of the game.

Finally got a trinket with 100% fire protection then discovered the new ice and poison gas traps. Also setting the tripwires off *on purpose* (cough) just to see what happens. Seems to be more hidden areas. Are there hidden rooms also?
When hit by cold- Maggie...sounds..like she's...taken acting...lessons..from ...William Shatner( lol).

Hexstar sounds like a "magic school dropout"-

Hey there, young enchantress, what's your game?
In the realm of magic, do you feel the same?
    Spells and potions, incantations galore,
But you're not sure if you can take much more.

    (Chorus)
Oh, magic school dropout, it's time to face the facts,
Your wand's collecting dust, your robes have got some cracks.
You thought you'd soar with phoenixes, but you stumbled on the track,
Oh, magic school dropout, won't you please come back?

    (Verse 2)
Potions class, you turned your brew to slime,
Transfiguration left you out of time.
Charms and hexes, they got you in a bind,
Now you're thinking it's time to leave it all behind.

    (Chorus)
Oh, magic school dropout, it's time to face the facts,
Your wand's collecting dust, your robes have got some cracks.
You thought you'd soar with phoenixes, but you stumbled on the track,
Oh, magic school dropout, won't you please come back?

    (Bridge)
But wait, my dear, before you walk away,
Remember why you started, don't let it all decay.
The magic's in your heart, it's not just a display,
Believe in yourself, you'll find your own way.

    (Verse 3)
So take a moment, gather up your pride,
Brush off the cobwebs, let your fears subside.
With every stumble, you'll learn to rise,
Back in that school, you'll dazzle with your ties.

    (Chorus)
Oh, magic school dropout, it's time to face the facts,
Your wand's collecting dust, your robes have got some cracks.
You thought you'd soar with phoenixes, but you stumbled on the track,
Oh, magic school dropout, now it's time to get back!

    (Outro)
No more magic school dropout, you're back on the attack,
With every spell you cast, you'll light up the world's map.
You'll rise above the challenges, you'll never more backtrack,
Oh, magic school graduate, you've found your magic knack!

Braved the multi player again. Glad I'm not the only one getting hit by all the new traps- I mean deliberately setting them off to see what they do(kinda like the one that summons a mob).
    "After you- I insist"

Seems to be a threat/aggro mechanic in place.
    "Popularity hurts"

Love the new cut scenes- really would like to see an actual cartoon even one ep.

Just trying to make people laugh  Humor was a part of the Sat morning cartoon experience- All the grumpy posts in steam tell me they don't get that part and they aren't nerdy enough to have played the original rogue and roguelikes. My favorite of those was "Omega" which had references to Star Wars, H.P. Lovecraft, Monty Python, and possibly "The Princess Bride"(but I may be confusing this one with NetHack). It had open world, procedurally generated dungeons, housing, players could be pretty much anything (if done right a player could become the person in charge of pretty much every organization).

    "Older and Nerdy"

Orbital Bacon on youtube does a Sat morning stream with the old cartoons and commercials.

No thanks needed- find something to laugh about. Heck dream about a "mythic difficulty" mode that even the people that say the game is too easy will crying about- episodes almost entirely populated by minibosses (and they keep showing up endlessly), Multiple bosses ("Just visiting to see how things are, but since I'm here"), Redcap paratroops being dropped in by the busload (just before/during the boss fight), mobs from other chapters being sent in as reinforcements, mostly fill entire rooms with pods that respawn. One of my odd ideas for if I ever made an online game was "never ban - just send them to the hell server with others of their kind that devs/admin could also jump into with a "menu" that would let them blow off steam (and laugh maniacally while doing so).

Personal achievement - "New Computer but no Terminator (It will be back order...)

Just got a copy of the game on steam to reduce clutter on my new computer- old one was steam, epic, origin... Interesting that the steam copy seems to have my video settings from the epic (something carried over from linking accounts?)- glad I don't need to be motion sick while figuring out the FOV settings.

"Dead Stylish"- I notice the skeletons have some new looks. I'd forgotten to set match for friends only and had someone jump in- game ran smooth for me, may need to try and jump in when other people are hosting.

"Cauterized" - reported a bug that had a permanent popup blocking my vision. I tried everything I could think of nothing worked, then I caught fire and it went away.

The treasure rooms being occupied is new- In the old games like Angband special rooms tended to have an increased chance of champion mobs...

If you've been playing the retail Epic version of the game, both it and Steam save to the same folder in AppData, so it should find the same save regardless of which version of retail you are playing on. It affects game settings as well.

Interesting, but completely new computer with an SSD instead of an HD. Maybe the windows cloud?

Noticed that the Mini-bosses have names now :D Will there be a "wanted" quest that has a new mini-boss with a reward every so often? "Bounty hunters head em up and move em out"

    "Cheers!"

Just noticed the character portrait changes on level up- nice touch there!

    "Don't touch my stuff!"

Just noticed the Magic Mushroom tends to teleport into the green toxic water. Was playing on MythicIII and killed it there...with the scar tissue curse active I wasn't going to jump in for the treasure drop.

    "mission impossible-not"
I've been playing in Mythic difficulty modes today because someone said that you need full upgrades before even trying it. He also probably doesn't believe me when I say I've beaten Mythic III without full upgrades. It has been a little tougher on the new account but I'm having fun and I've gotten better about using terrain features to help down enemies (only at two star weapon upgrades).
I only caught fire once :D

    "No refunds!"

Forgot I was in a new account when upgrading Maggie's weapons and didn't have all the gold to just upgrade from left to right. Upgraded the fire book when I usually now use Lightning and Frost.

"It's a good thing the minions are already dead"

I've been having fun with the reusable traps running through, stepping on the large activation plates when there's a minion following close behind me. Maybe the minions weren't dead when they got hired.

Been a bit since I've posted on this=

    "Bubble placement matters-"

Thought I had a safe corner to drop a bubble on (was in a bit of a rush ) near one of those reusable poison gas traps, mob was stepping on the trap activator and I'd get gassed then use a lightning bolt which pushes the mob off the activator so it can step on it again- repeat until mob dies(mythic I tough). On the bright side - the other things charging in at me got gassed, arcane damage, and lightning bolts. I emerge from all that just hanging by a thread, nearly earning...

"It's wafer thin" when I almost get finished off by a pot sticker.

"But the forums say"- Saw the steam forums someone started a topic about the music. I started playing around with Suno.
