Shadow Issue and FPS drops

Hey all,

Small issue I've been having - game has been freezing for less than a second every 2-3 minutes. Not game-breaking, but frustrating.

Also, been having this weird issue with character shadows:

I'm not running any custom content, only have the HD pack installed.
