HELP PLEASE ! Game crashes when a hit "New" on the main menu ! HELP PLEASE

Bought the game today on Steam, clean install, no mods.

Cant start a new game.

Tried to reinstall openal32.dll with oalinst.exe but didnt work either.

Suggestions?

Im on Win 7.

    Turns out the game does not recognize my doc folder because my name "André" has special characters

    F:\Users\Andr�\Documents\Neverwinter Nights because my name is André

    so i get SQL ERRORs

    then i edit nwn.ini to point everything to C:\Neverwinter Nights and it works!

    But cmon guys, i had to troubleshoot my way through every single game i bought from you. This is basic stuff.
