Only bringing this up because I feel like some IE engine fans might get a kick out of it.
Wildermyth is a procedurally generated DnD-like game where you live out the entire lives of your party of characters. There are many campaigns, some with pre-written narratives and some without, and many ways to create your character. From my original party of four, one ended up as a werewolf (changing his abilities), one stole a diamond from a cave only for it to curse him into slowly becoming a gem-man hybrid thing, and the other two got married and had kids.
I didn't think a procedurally generated sort of game could end up having decent conversations, cutscenes, etc., but here is where it really shines. It is better written than it has any right to be.
And yes, the mods make it better.
