Buttons misplaced on Samsung Fold 4

(underneath text has been copied from another forum member, but I got the same issue).

When running BG:EE, BG2:EE, Dragonspear or Icewind Dale on Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 in full screen mode touch controls are misplaced, and appear to be lower than the actual buttons, thus making the games unplayable. I purchased all of those games to enjoy them on the larger Fold 4 screen, and it doesn't work. Has anyone experienced the same issue? And could it be fixed somehow?

Hi there! We're aware there are UI issues while playing these games on Fold devices. They will be investigated if there is a patch for the Android version in the future. Currently, I don't have any info for you.

A patch would be great, I was very excited to play in "tablet mode" with my new fold 4 but it seems unworkable at the moment...

Thanks for the acknowledgement - it's good to know the problem is known even if patches aren't planned.

Wonder if this could be fixed on the Android side - ie., if it's an issue with how the screen scaling is being done.

+1 for this problem. Bug report submitted through their customer support system.

But seriously, I wouldn't let Beamdog off the hook saying, "even if patches aren't planned." This is a paid product. It's their responsibility to fix it, especially if they're aware of it.

I found a way to make it work. You have to change the aspect ration for the game itself. Open up the screen up, go into Settings/Display/Full Screen Apps. Select the game and change full screen to 16/9 and the touch issue goes away.

Having same problem here... Fold 5...
Even knowing that changing aspect ratio fix touch problem would be really better plays in full screen to enjoy all the screen size.
Im playing in full screen and tapping until I hit my target... its a little annoying...
Opened an issue in beamdog support(#BDASS-1476 ) but without much hope after seeing this is a know issue for more than a year =/

And the problem continues on the Fold 6. I can't get either ID or BG2 to go any further than the screen asking to select Single Player or Multi-player unless I go into settings and tell the phone to show the game in 16x9 or 4x3. If they're set to Full Screen, the in-game buttons make the clicking sound but nothing else happens. They work fine on my Fold 3 though, which has been fully updated to the latest Android version.
