win32 nwmain.exe won't use linux-x86 nwsync manifest

I've connected to a PW using linux-x86 "nwmain-linux" executable, and downloaded its custom content using nwsync into the nwsync directory.
I'm using the win32 "nwmain.exe" executable to connect to the same PW, but nwsync wants to download all the custom content again.
Why doesn't it use the existing downloaded custom content?

Why am I switching between linux-x86 and win32?

If you run win32 nwmain.exe on Linux via WineHQ and connect to a PW, nwsync will download the custom content somewhere magical, and allow you to connect to the PW.
However, when you try to connect to the PW subsequently, you'll have download the custom content again.
