Axis and Allies Graphics rendering super slow on powerful machine

I have Axis and Allies installed on my Windows 11 PC with Corei7 + Radeon 560X. I am not sure why but the graphics animations during battle are SUPER SLOW. There are so many settings in the graphics sections, I am not sure how to configure settings to speed it up. Would appreciate any advice.
