NWN:EE Won't Launch-- also support.bauldersgate is down

Not sure where else to post this since link in 'How to report your NWN bugs sticky' is not working.

Using steam, doesn't even get to the first menu or give me an error code just stops launching. Nor does there seem to be a log folder in NWN document folder

found some similar inquiries through google search, but most seemed to be on windows and again the links for download fixes are on the support.bauldersgate domain so can't access them.

tried the few things but no luck so far: checked install files, tried reinstalling, deleting nwn.ini file and the entire containing local folder in documents.

On a OSX 10.11.6 (late 2012 mac mini)
2.6 ghz i7

Suggestions much appreciated!

Hello! Thanks for the heads-up on the how-to-report-bugs sticky. That was an old thread, Beamdog support moved to another site - https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/77037/beamdog-support-is-moving-to-service-desk/p1 (and we no longer respond to individual tickets as we don't have the resources for that).
