Is this game this boring until the end?

Hello. First of all, this is my personal point of view, I never played PS:T before, I bought it 'recently' and started playing it and... I'm very confused why this game is so loved:
1.The dual class system with the trainers and all that is very bad. It's a nonsense that you can't use your trained classes if you don't TALK with the trainer to ''activate'' your levels in the class... I prefered the dual and multi systems in Baldur's, was more logic. The level cap of 127 is so wtf too... Unnecessary? Not a big problem, just don't expect to level that high... but really, why 127?
2. 9092838 uninteresting fetch quests, ''go there and bring me that''... It's very boring. It's always like this or it ends when you are out of this monotonous city?
3. I know it's part of the game design and idea, but I don't feel that the main character is mine if I can't even name him somehow, even if it was just for some time, a fake name. Not to mention, he hurts my eyes. Is necessary that he walks half-naked forever?
4. TOO MUCH TEXT. I mean I like to read, I like books, I like games with dialogues, but in this game, it's just too much, and 90% of what 'people' say is: nonsenses, depressing and repetitive stuff about how planes work... and this disgusting descriptions of nearly everyone... (smells, looks, and all this).
5. Combats are not combats. You can simply normal attack everyone and you never gonna lose. I know combat is not key in this game, but...
6. Too much stats. When you level up, with the runes, with everything... you sure end being a 25 25 25 25 25 25 if you want. Just that there's no reason to do that, anyway.
7. Nonsenses like ''if you talk with Dunnowho a certain number of times in that tavern, then Dunnowho appears in a totally unpredictable place and gives you dunnowhat quest or item''. I know planes are weird, but this is just... If you don't follow a guide or something, you gonna miss this for sure.
Maybe the game story is good and all that but really... all that made me quit and want a refund (that never gonna happen), but no way. Is this game overrated because it was a ''pioneer'' or it's just me?

It is just you.
However, i can perfectly understand why you would not like this game. A lot of D&D things in this game seem so basic when compared to it's other siblings. Torment does not seem like a D&D game at all. I might as well say it does not even feel like a Forgotten Realms game. It's so crude in terms of " combat gear", "effects", "character evolvement", yet fascinating in it's originality.
The one superiority that this game "pronounces" above the siblings like BG/IWD/NWN is the ability to "DIG UP" hidden remarks/experience points/quests from NPC's based on how you divulge your conversation, which in itself is based on one of your crucial primary skills: WIS/INT/CHA. There is certainly too much talk compared to combat, and that is ok - that's why we have the opposite Icewind Dale game.
I think the point you did not get or have appreciated is not just that Torment is "more rich in dialogue", but that it is based on a philosophical self contained scenario, where the point is not to find out the so gimmicky and boring themes that are present in BG/ID/NWN "who is the bad man", "why is he attacking us", but rather understand and enjoy a concept of story telling where there is no classical story set pieces to begin with (if you get the point). Torment is like an analytical tool for character step by step self knowing, as well as giving so much priority to imagination and fundamental aspects of the universe, instead of focusing on one single world/region like Cania from NWN or the frozen north lands from IWD and the struggle for power between some main story "plotters" like we have in almost every game. Torment ain't about that. It gives priority on emphasizing the wide angles of existence, reason to live, morality, alternating lives, character changes, rebirth, believing, good and evil, chaos and order dilemmas. I am not "fed" by a single, although greatly written story line that goes in NWN2 like "Myrkul vs. Kelemvor", and how believing in gods gives them power - no! In Planescape Torment i am fed by what we can relate to our real lives here on earth more than in any game ever. I can't even remember Torment mentioning any of those Forgotten Realms gods - it's focus in scenario is just so much more general and fundamental, yet far reaching, ever questioning.
This is why Planescape Torment is the best fantasy story game ever - being behind gameplay and other things compared to other RPG games, but whatever. There are no perfect games.
It's about roleplaying, interactions, etc. There's some light puzzle-solving akin to what's in Durlag's Tower or the BG2 dungeons, but not much. You're not wrong to complain that much of it is fetch-quest style goals. Alot of the quests are just a series of "talk to this NPC then that other one."
I'll say something a bit controversial. I always found this game hugely overrated. I will agree that the writing is denser and the dialogue system is more complex than BG or IWD. However, that one quality facet is not enough to carry the whole of the game. The game simply asks you slog through a lot of parts that are NOT well done. While the main story is pretty good, it's also clearly targeted at a very specific audience. Despite the dark exterior of the game, it's very much a power fantasy designed to appeal to an adolescent boy or a young man. Minor spoilers, but the game has several female characters that are all in love with the protagonist for no truly explained reason.
The game deserves credit for a deeply original story (albeit pretentious in parts imo). And the dialogue/characters are indeed fun much in the way Fallout1 and 2 were. But it has little else to offer. It's definitely not for you if you do not find the text-based parts of the game fun.
