Cannot Assign Proficiencies on levelup, get stuck

Hi all,
Running EET with EEex, occasionally when trying to level up the plus and minus buttons for weapons proficiencies and/or thief skills will be nonfuctional. This issue only happens sometimes, I cannot seem to find any rhyme or reason as to what causes the problem. EEex script during the issue is attached, as is weidu. Please let me know if you have any advice. Thank you!
