[MOD] Morg NPC, Lawful Evil Duergar Fighter/Necromancer

Hello I have released an NPC mod for the Baldur's Gate 1: Enhanced Edition.
You can find the more accurate description at the GitHub page Morg NPC for BG1
Download here
It's a WeiDU based mod and currently in the "works for me" state.

And nice work for adding the weel to ar2200 and of course for the new designed area.
Ah you are right, just an oversight from my part. Morg is Lawful Evil, as most Duergar are. It's now in the github readme.
Changelog:
WOW, great job, no issues so far, love the items, new area was perfect, difficulty right on, Portrait was right on. Design. A+++++++
I take my hat off to you!!!!!!!!!!
Only gripe is his low DEX, all the Dwarfs in BGEE have low DEX, only 1 pair of Gloves) so was thinking of switching his Wisdom and DEX maybe knock 2 points off of both Charisma and Wisdom afterwards so he sits at 75 total stat points. Really need DEX and CON.
This guy compatible with SOD or BG2EE/TOB? I would love to play him in those also.
I'm eager to try it on an evil shorty run.
By the way I read in the readme you hesitate to do banters without voices, but banters in BG1 and BG2 aren't voiced, so it's not really a problem. :-)
Maybe someone could have a look into this?
And btw, I did some small AI Enhancements with it's portrait, feel free to use
Hi! Do you run your install with verbose stuff on? I wonder why I missed those. Thanks for the report, at least the CanEquipRanged is simple to understand why it complains about that. Apparently the mod still works tho so I'm a bit baffled about the timer ones.
I don't mind people using the AI one, I will however not publish anything done with AI myself.
Hi! The low DEX is mainly to keep other base game companions still preferable in certain cases and not make Morg too "must pick" every time. I understand it was a PITA in your run with your chosen companions. I do encourage to modify his stats yourself if you'd like to. The high wisdom is due to necromancers having min WIS of 16. I didn't want to make him "break the rules".
Currently Morg has no specific SoD support, He'll stick with you if you have him in the party from BG1 to SoD afaik. I don't think you can dismiss him from the party and expect him back. It's likely you'll never get a proper SoD Morg, I just don't ever play the expansion so it's hard for me to develop it. And if I do, it's prolly to fully leave your party during the expansion instead of sticking around. There's some planned BG2 lore stuff why he would disappear during that time.
Morg for BG2 is in the initial gathering ideas stage. There's is just a ton more work to make an NPC in BG2. I also got other projects I am working on that take my time so it's unlikely to get done for the time being.
No. I just pay a bit more attention when installing new mods for the first time.
So is there something negativ to be expected from those warnings? Or can I safely ignore them?
You can safely ignore them, it's just a single enemy script that seems to have some trouble but WeiDU seems to be able to handle it graciously, doesn't seem to cause trouble other than me having to recheck my scripting skills.
