How to kill doom guards?

I'm in this maze under the thieves guild on my way to kill Sarevok...
However there are two doom guards there and I have no idea how to kill them.
None of my attacks work and I read on the internet that acid arrows work against them but I dont have any.
Could not find more information about killing doom guards other than the acid arrows.
How to do?
Would appreciate help very much!

Just engage them with your tankiest melee and preferably have other melees engage with 2 handed weapons so the guards keep attacking your tank. 2 handed weapons have more range and even with SCS Doom Guards have simple melee monster AI that keeps attacking the closest thing. Should go down easy enough like that.
Some additional stuff. They have 50 % fire damage resistance but no magic resistance at all so you can add any damage spells you want into the mix to make it faster. Also their AC vs slashing is very good while their AC against piercing and especially crushing is a little worse.
I'd assume you've fought a couple of Battle Horrors so far? They're basically the same thing.
EDIT: I've also after all these years, while looking into this a bit, realized that while they're both immune to hold apparently neither of them is immune to web.
Thanks alot for your answer! I managed to kill them with spamming fire and frost wands at them.
Now however im stuck again
This time in undercity, the first fight with Rahvin destroys my whole party in seconds and this despite my whole party being lvl 7-8 which in theory should be enough (?).
I managed to make it this far by "cheating". For example in the Iron Throne HQ I would be totally destroyed if I didn't go down the stairs and lure the enemies out one by one.
And the first Sarevok battle I was just lucky.
In this battle however there is no way to "cheat" and therefore I can not handle it
My mistake is probably the fact that I rarely use any tactics. I just give my whole party ranged weapons and simply attack enemies one after the other.
I will keep trying to see how I manage but I would welcome any tips!
I'm going to try to be more tactical now.
I did realize though that it wasn't as hard as I initially thought.
I managed them but again by "cheating".
I could apperently lure them one or two at a time.
That fight is also 100 % skippable if you feel like it. If you just want to get to the end go around the undercity on either the top or bottom half and you can just completely avoid them.
A lot of more difficult fights become a lot easier if you manage to CC some enemies with web, chaos, confusion etc.
It's also one of those fights where you can totally cheese it by sending 6 (or however many party members you have) explosions their way outside their field of view.
Now that I made it to Sarevok I read that Battle Horrors only can be killed with melee weapons. I think I am going to wait with this battle and prepare better. Again my party is destroyed within seconds.
Scrolls.
Wands.
Lure them one by one.
Offscreen kill them(depends on version of bg, in some versions they are more agressive, in some versions they follow you true every door/stairway etc).
Offscreen:
Cloud kill, fireball, potions of explotion, missle blast amulet etc.
Hold/stuck/stun/sleep/blind:
Web, stinking cloud = sleep, hold person, wand of paralysing.
Well, there Are so many ways to cheeze this game, some make it to easy so dno if i should give you to much atm, as it may make ur final battle’s a little boring. Some characters can finnish this game as lvl 1 in hardest difficulty with cheezing.
When it comes to doom guards, spells is ur way. If ur team lack spells it gets harder.
With my monk i had to blind them, then use 2 handed fists range to melee them as they could not see me meanwhile.
Magic wepons, but not missle/pierce.
Blind them. They are immune to stun/sleep, so blind is good.
Elemental and magical damage works. Not poison, but all the other types. Wands of fire or lightning, spells from your casters, even the bonus elemental damage on special ammunition.
You can also fight them in melee. And unlike golems, they're vulnerable to backstabs. Go ahead and get some good hits in with your thieves, as long as you have an exit strategy because that's not going to kill them in one hit.
