Low reputation.

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I do not remember my reputation still being low after the first Sarevok battle (ducal palace) my last playthrough. But maybe I am not remembering correctly?
My party members keep complaining about me being evil although I played the whole game with the highest reputation.
Is it supposed to be like this or is this a bug or something. I dont remember my party members complaining last playthrough.

    Ducal palace battle doesn't affect reputation.
    If your party members complaint about low reputation, it's probably because you have indeed bad reputation.
    Did you kill an innocent by accident ?
    What is your current reputation ?

    Hmm that's strange. My reputation throughout the whole game was 20. Now it's only 4....

    Edit: will party members leave after a while if my reputation stays low? Or will they only leave if my reputation drops even lower?

    Sounds like you killed some innocents - that's easily done without you noticing if you use spells like fireball and lightning bolt in populated areas.

    I very rarely play with NPCs, but I don't remember any of them leaving unless reputation falls to 3. If you boot good characters out of the party though they won't stick around to be hired back if your reputation stays low.

    U probably killed some "innocent NPCs" accidentally during one of fights. IIRC, party members will leave at REP=2.

    Go to a church, and pay to improve your reputation. 😉

    All those commoners think that they can walk around without Magic Resistance or something? They are mad 😆.

    Thanks all for the help. Yeah I must have killed innocents by mistake at some point... I will go donate in a temple.

    On legacy of bhaal theese commoners got like 90HP so survies most mistakes xD THat beeing said, I prefer to not turn them red xD
