Dorn's quest: Kryll unresponsive

While on Dorn's quest to slay his betrayers I confronted Kryll the necromancer surrounded by collapsed bodies. Not a single NPC including her would interact with me, I tried sleeping and leaving coming back/ restarting game. I imagine there is supposed to be some dialog, a fight, and then a way to rescue the Nashkel woman's husband. Instead if she is killed, Dorn has his speech about the next target and the quest is left bugged like that.

    you have to approach her with just dorn - leave the others behind until she attacks

    I forgot to mention that I had been trying that as well, maybe this isn't a common bug or not a bug at all, but in my game even when I approach with just Dorn and wait indefinitely, no interaction takes place. Even with just Dorn near her, she still has nothing to say to me when I click on her.

    Patch 2009a solved this issue.
