Mods are Amazing!

So I've known about mods for a while, and I've used a few in the past. BUT I did not know about EET. Then, I found out about IWD 1 AND 2 in EET. THEN I learned about Trials of the Luremaster in EET. THEN, I found out about NWN for BG. AND THEN I found out about the map mod!
Holy crap, you guys. I know most of you probably already know about all of these, but it's like the greatest discovery of my gaming life, and I've been a gamer since I was 6. So that's 38 years.
So now, I have the above installed along with DSOTSC, NTOTSC, SOTSC, TDD, Check the Bodies, and a bazillion more with the map mod.
I basically have a never-ending sandbox of Faerun exploration, and it - is - glorious.

Oh, nice. Thanks!
There are some mega-mods e. g. Neverwinter Night for BG2, which I think is great.
What would be REALLY epic would be if we can connect ALL these games into one unified part, a bit like what EET is doing but also to extend it. For instance, making ToB content etc... available after play-through too, ideally even with a new party and new questions. Like a perpetual game state.
This may sound not realistic right now, but who knows, perhaps in some years. Having all mods for BG2 already adds a lot of extra play time and there is still new content added, though unfortunately there are also some bugs here and there in some mods or other incompatibilities. I like older mods such as Region of Terror too and it is still updated, but it has quite some small-ish bugs, so obviously we don't have the manpower to polish older mods to current standards. (The auto-tool that people used, rarely worked well in my opinion.)
