Huge problem! My whole party turns in to werewolves!?!?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I just finished the tales of the sword coast questline and returned with the ship. But as soon as I am back my whole party turns into werewolves!?. How can I solve this? I would very much appreciate any help! I played so long on this character I really do not want to start over again!

    Ok so I read on another thread to use this console command: C:SetGlobal("Infected","GLOBAL",2) and it did work my party does not turn into werewolves anymore. However, when I speak with Mendas he only asks me again if I want to travel to the island and if I say yes the whole quest just starts over again. Is the quest broken because I used a console command???

    Edit: Is there any console command that finishes the quest? Or is there something I can do about this with EE keeper??

    Edit: I reloaded a previous save and finished the quest in less than 3 days and have solved the problem. Now my question is, do I need to go and find a cure????

    Ok thank you! Finally solved this. Was afraid I had to start all over.

    the reason this happens is when you take out the lead werewolf in the balduran ship and go back to the female leader in the little town, that banter starts the werewolf change counter, i forget how much time you have (x amount of days or so), but usually i just run to where i need to go when that happens, and have plenty of time

    so for future reference make sure you finish EVERYTHING you need to do before you speak with the female leader after you kill the werewolf leader in the ship, or else you may turn into them vicious puppy dawgs
