Loot from the Twisted Rune missing?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
i just beat them and then watched some videos with the same fight on youtube to see how others did it. i was surprised they got a couple of items that i didnt get as drops, like some tome from the lich - he dropped only gold from me, and at the end, the staff of the magi. whats the deal here?

    You can check loot on a walk-through like gamebanshee.

    I also remember some mod that dropped insane loot, like some dragon armour. Unfortunately I forgot the name ... since then I also decided I prefer mods that are more well-balanced intrinsically. Some item mods are not working too terribly well, morpheus and argent77 identified two, and the mod with the timestop item also has issues (or, issues that then arise with some other mods; when I stopped using those three mods, almost all my problems actually went away, or most of them; and I also no longer use the weidu reinstall-action, that never worked well for me, even if that may be due to some mods causing that problem).
