Trying to access multiplayer on Switch and getting errors getting an id or token from master authentication server. Anyone else experience this issue?

Yeahhhh, you aren't the only one. I'm trying to see what I can test on my end to see if there is a work around. Though I have high doubts, I'll see what I can do. Til then, see if you can't find a way to escalate the issue as this is pretty huge.

Thanks for confirming. I tried bypassing my router and different internet sources. Same issue.

So far, I have't found anything yet on my end either, and I'm trying all that I can with what I have. I'm going to have a friend of mine sign into my Switch account and open it on theirs, see if they encounter the same issue. If it does, then it's gotta be a console problem most likely, otherwise something else is wrong that I don't have the expertise for.

Hi folks. What version of the Switch OS are you running? Can we ask you to upgrade to the latest version?

I'm on the latest. Manually checked for updates for the game and concole. This was last night. I can try again later today.

I'm also having the same issue. I bought the game yesterday to play online and it says it's trying to identify my token and other information online but can't.

Latest version of game and switch software. 20.0.1 it looks like.

I also tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and get the same error.d5zc3y57zmsm.jpg

Ok, thanks for the updates. We're continuing to look into this. Our initial guess is that Nintendo broke something with the Switch 2 release.

No update yet. We had sent a request to Nintendo, but haven't heard back.
